Believing in miracles

Not quite, but I’m inclined in that direction.  Here we are back in Cardiff.  The near miracle in question is the triumph of parking I achieved on our arrival.  Parking spaces are as rare as hen’s teeth in this part of the city, and I could swear that the space into which I levered the car was only possible with divine intervention!

Rather less miraculous is the fact that for yet another day running I’ve been able to find the opportunity for some sketching.  Every time I do I tell myself that I ought to have the discipline to do it more often.  This time I managed a drawing of the ancient church at Llangenith.  No masterpiece, but satisfying. It is amazing how my confidence is returning with practice.

Tonight is the night of the final of Cardiff Singer.  There really is a sense of occasion as we get our finery on!  Having indulged in an afternoon nap, I’m running a bit late, so today’s post is going to have to be brief!
