I have an idea for a new painting about which I am very excited! I have identified my reference material and prepared the canvas. The idea is clearly in my mind. As it happens, Christmas is upon us, and tonight I have to go to an annual family party. I discovered this afternoon that the UK snooker championships have started in York (and on the TV). What is more, I am committed to doing some sign writing in preparation for the village’s annual “Dickensian Market”. Oh dear! Isn’t that just the way it is?
