Yes, it has been, in fact. I really do have difficulty in getting my head round this age thing, but if people tell me I’m getting older then I guess there must be something in it.
There have been phone calls from the family, and dinner together with my wife. (I contributed the steak Diane, and she produced profiteroles with strawberries. The bottle of Barbera D’Alba was a welcome complement.) The new picture germinating in my head becomes clearer by the minute. I received an enquiry about the purchase of one of my pictures. It looks as if it will go to a good home. I am picky about that. Oh, yes! And I won at Scrabble. So, overall, it has been a pretty good birthday.
