I plucked up the energy, determination and courage to make approaches today to three possible exhibition venues. It does look as if tonight the government is about to announce the most severe restrictions yet on movement and contact. I can only hope that these places operate on a very long lead-time.
Meanwhile, in the absence of a project on which to work, I am stuck into one of the most difficult jigsaw puzzles I’ve seen for a long time. It’s all leaves, branches and snow, with just one bird. It’s one of those “murder mystery” jigsaws, where you read the story, and then do the puzzle, which is supposed to give you clues as to “whodunnit”. We reckon we’ve worked it out already, so to add insult to injury the outcome is going to be anticlimactic. Ah well!
