Me, for example. I’ve found it to be a peculiar but persistent feature of my personality that I can’t write and paint in the same period. (Perhaps something to do with one’s dominant brain hemisphere.) I’m back now from my short holiday in Scotland, well and truly refreshed after several days of walking and the stimulus of visits to friends and family. It should be a great time to get back into painting!
Now the bad news. I am committed to giving a talk on Sunday, and when that is out of the way I’ll be under pressure to complete the text for the brochure for my exhibition in Lincoln in July. Words, words, words! I shouldn’t complain, but ….
