Yet another positive test for covid! What a drag! I had to cancel a session with a model I had scheduled for this morning, so any hope I might have had that I could begin to move forward with my work once more has had to be laid aside.
Things are very much at a standstill at the moment, and I’m disappointed to have received a rejection from a gallery I approached. Their list of alternative institutions I might approach gave a pretty clear indication of the fact that they see themselves as operating at a higher level than I am. At least they responded with positive suggestions for action. The thing which really annoys me is when institutions who receive from me a courteous and informative letter about my work just fail to reply at all. I wonder why it is that ecclesiastical institutions are the absolute worst in that respect.
Still, I do have positive ideas about steps I might take tomorrow. It may be the case that I’m “grounded” by covid, but that is not the end of the story.
