…. namely, cambio armadio. It means, changing the wardrobe. Apparently the movement from summer to winter clothing (and I presume vice versa) is regarded in Italy as an actual event. Anyway, that is what I did today in order to pass the time while the rest of the structure paste dried on my new composition. The amazing thing is, of course, that we have reached the middle of October and I have only just felt the need to find something warmer than my summer clothing. A lesson from today’s activity has been the discovery that I cannot imagine my needing any more clothes for the rest of my life. I admit that I do actually wear things to extinction, as gardening or painting clothes, and these days we rarely go anywhere that requires us to dress up.
I checked the structure paste before sitting down to write this, and I am all set to start painting properly tomorrow. But more of that anon.
