For the first time since I began to make painting my main activity I have received an invitation to apply for an exhibition from the organisers, instead of my having to initiate the approach. I like to think that this could be significant.
Another “first” of a different kind turned up in my facebook page today. A correspondent from Bologna was actually seeing the funny side of the current “Corona virus” epidemic in Italy. He posted a video of Bob Dylan singing his Talking World War III Blues.
My correspondent remarked that he was “minus 2” when Dylan recorded the song. I was in graduate school!
