I do hope so, because I have been wrestling with an unwanted intrusion into my website over the past few days. I gather that I am able to post messages, but the editing function is interrupted regularly by an intrusive message attempting to sell me additional soft-ware, for which I have no need. The internet is a wonderful institution, but like many other activities in life its utility is undermined by people who think that they can hitch a life on it for their own purposes. The experience is rather like that when you are having a conversation with somebody and a stranger elbows their way in, insisting that they dictate the subject and course of the discussion. The unfortunate thing about this particular intrusive message is that I can’t find any way of telling them, politely but pointedly, to push off and mind their own business.
