Back in the land of sanity!

I’m sorry to have dropped out of the loop during the past couple of days, but my computer was hacked and I had to send it to my friendly neighbourhood engineer to get it fixed. I want to take this opportunity to warn readers of the danger of clicking on any message on facebook of which you are not confident that you know its source. There is always something you spot in passing which looks ace if it might be interesting. Don’t touch it! Facebook is riddled with the pox! Anyway: I have made one interesting discovery, and that is the disturbing degree to which I am dependent upon the computer for a range of activities which are parts of what I have come to regard to “normal” life.

My mental health has been restored in part by my usual Tuesday activity of climbing. It has been a beautiful day, and as autumn is closing in on us it seemed to be an opportunity we couldn’t miss. Tomorrow I will be back to the routine of serious life, happily with my sanity in tact again.
