My attempts to get back into art work seem to be doomed to frustration. Not only did we have visitors this afternoon, but my evening is booked as well. I will be spending the night at a night-shelter for the homeless, which means that I will have a shift of about five hours when I will have to be on duty. This might seem to be an admirable time in which to do some drawing, but an understandable concern has been expressed in the past that there might be some infringement of the privacy of the people using the shelter. So I’ll probably have to be content with a mixture of Italian language provision, novel reading and crossword puzzles.
At least I managed to get into Bradford this morning in order to buy my rail ticket to London for a trip next month, which I will spend on a “gallery crawl”. I reckon that three galleries in two days ought to be enough for anybody.
