Now that the dust has settled over my exploration of the possibilities of on-line exhibition, my mind has been free to turn back to the real business of painting. During our recent visit to Leicester my imagination was really grabbed by a group of very ancient oak trees in Bradgate park,. and I did wonder whether I might ever get around to drawing them.* They have been preying on my mind ever since then, and today I began to think seriously about an “art raid” in which I would spend a day drawing them. I guess it depends upon the weather, so that I am likely to leap out of bed in the morning and go! Watch this space.lein
