Tomorrow I leave for Italy on a journey that will last two weeks. I hope to be able to keep this blog going because I have recently acquired an iPad. A friend who was on a trip to this region with me last year pointed out this afternoon that WiFi access where we stayed was not altogether reliable. I’ll do my best to keep you posted, but can’t promise anything. Please do keep looking.
The trip will fall into two parts. The first will be a week of solo activity devoted very much to my painting. In the second week I’ll be joined by friends, and the emphasis will shift to climbing mountains. Tomorrow is a bit of a journey into the unknown, in that I have an airline ticket as far as Venice, after which it will be a matter of getting trains and busses as they turn out to be available.
