I was delighted this morning to find myself in conversation with somebody who has taken an interest in my work over some time and who genuinely seems to appreciate what I do. This is, of course, probably the experience of many artists. We plug away at developing our personal vision, but don’t get a lot of reinforcement. I had the opportunity to explain to her the idea behind my “Green Man” images, and she really seemed to get the point.*
*These are currently being framed, and I expect to be able to show them in the New Year. Although I have hopes for a local exhibition early in the spring they will be the focus of my exhibition at Lincoln Cathedral in mid-summer.
