This is far from being a normal week. We are entertaining our nine-year-old grandson for several days, and needless to say the routine of a couple of old-age pensioners has had to be reconfigured. Board games have been brought out of the cupboard, and after dinner we sat down to watch a crazy cartoon film* You might think that under these circumstances art would be entirely eclipsed, but this is not so. He always likes to have an art project of some kind when he visits us. This time it is a model in papier mâché. The intention is to produce a mountain landscape. So far, so good, although I am now completely out of glue.
*I think it was entitled something like Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Absolutely insane!
