I had an email today to tell me that ll of my entries to the Great Sheffield Art Show have been accepted. Should I feel better now about their unusual admission process? Hmmm! Anyway: the show opens at the end of the month. Look out for it. I might well remind you.
I’m not sure whether this is good or bad news, but yesterday was passed (as usual) climbing with a couple of friends. I did manage to climb a route on Stanage Edge at a grade I haven’t done for several years …. I then slept for ten hours! Another piece of good news is that I finally finished reading and commenting on the draft chapter of a book sent to me by a former colleague. That was an intellectual labour of Hercules! With luck I might actually get back to some art tomorrow.
