I have just commissioned a new web-site …. or at least, a new version of this one. It is many years since the site was given a good overhaul, and it is time I gave it a thorough re-think. I have reached an agreement with a web-designer, and have had the go-ahead from her to start work. The prospect is exciting, but the amount of work I am going to need to put in is a bit daunting. Fortunately I had decided already that August is to be a fallow month as far as painting is concerned, so I will not be feeling that my energies are diverted from something I otherwise really wanted to do.
Of course, any ideas or comments readers might have to make will be very welcome. I look forward to hearing from you. What are the aspects of the site you like, and would want to see retained? What parts of it, on the other hand, really ought to be pensioned-off? Are there things I don’t touch on at all in the current version, which really should find a place in any new site?
