…. although not yet a spring clean. Some of you might have noticed that I am working at the moment to revise and update my website. This is a task I have been promising myself I will do for about two years. A combination of busyness and technophobia has led me to defer constantly this project.
I am aware that it would be a good idea to undertake a far more ambitious reconstruction, as I have been advised on several occasions that the contents of the site don’t sit very well with mobile devices. The effort and cost of such a complete reconstruction is something of which I am very keenly aware. So for the time being readers will have to accept a revision that is rather less ambitious than it might be.
I have not only updated some of the text but also added a good deal of additional information to each of the images in the galleries. In fact, there are two additional galleries. At the time of writing I am still not satisfied entirely with the result, and will continue tweaking for a little longer. New obligations are closing in however, in the form of approaches I want to make to exhibition venues, and I know that this will take a good deal of time and effort.
Please do take the time to look around more generally in the site, and post me your comment. If you are a regular visitor I would welcome your observations as to whether or not you do feel that there has been an improvement. If you are a new arrival your comment would also be valued, letting me know your first impressions of the site. Either way your feedback will be useful when I come around ultimately to undertaking a more general revision of the site. Many thanks in anticipation!
