Stirring in the undergrowth

I don’t know whether this is a regular, seasonal thing, but in the world of my art things are beginning to stir in the undergrowth. I received an invitation today to enter work for the Christmas show at a local gallery,* and also notification that this year’s Great Sheffield Art Show is now open for business. This latter is a virtual, on-line display this year, but please do check out my work. As I remarked in an earlier post, I am still rather cautious about the extent to which on-line galleries are a good thing. We shall see.

In addition to this, it does look as if an opportunity is opening up during next week for me to make the anticipated expedition to Bradgate Park, in Leicestershire, in order to draw their ancient trees. A firm decision on this will depend upon the weather, but as things stand it all looks very promising. Actually, I’m getting quite excited!
