I’ve just returned from an art frenzy in London, and I’m really quite exhausted. I looked at the Bill Viola/Michaelangelo show at the Royal Academy, then the Pierre Bonnard exhibition at the Tate Modern. Finally, I went to St. Paul’s Cathedral, to look at the recent permanent exhibition of two Bill Viola pieces there. I haven’t realised before how much art can take it out of you!
Tomorrow I hope to post a review of the Bonnard, and then after that a considered discussion of Bill Viola.
Right now all I want to do is sleep.
