Time for a rest

It really is time that I took a break. The past few months have been very productive, and very creative, but my activities have consumed a good deal of energy. I am still feeling rather depleted as a result of my pace-maker operation. So, although there are several initiatives I might be taking, it is appropriate that I take a break, and take stock of what I should be turning my attention to in the New Year.

Already I have commitments to two solo exhibitions, and an idea of several open competitive events into which its would be good to enter pieces. I know that it is not possible to do everything, however, and it would be helpful if I could formulate some set of priorities. As I suggested in a previous post, I have become aware of just how out-of-date this web-site has been allowed to become, and high on my list of duties forth coming year will be a substantial revision of it.*

Meanwhile, I am looking forward to a serious celebration of Christmas and a gentle embarkation into the New Year. I extend my very best wishes to all of my visitors–especially those of you who call in regularly. It all be good to renew our acquaintance after the festive season. There is no precise plan at the moment for an exact date on which I will be taking up the blog again, but it is likely that I will be seeing in the New Year first.

I wish you all a very Happy Christmas, and a peaceful and creative New Year.

*Incidentally, if you do have ideas about how the site could be improved, now is the time to pass on your observations. They will be very welcome.
