Time out

I’ll need to take a break from the blog for a couple of days because of rather time-consuming (and sociable) activities.

A part of my time will be devoted to child-care. We will be visiting our son in Sheffield, and spending time with our small grandson. The other, heavier, demand on time will be the Great Sheffield Art Show. This will take place in the city’s Millennium Gallery, and I am pleased to say that five of my pieces have been accepted for exhibition. The show has been upgraded to a far more dignified setting this year, and it will be interesting to see how that works.

Dear readers, you do matter to me, but on this occasion my mind will be on other things. Have a good week-end.

    • Thank you very much! It’s always hard to tell with these events how to assess their “success”. I didn’t actually sell anything, but from the limited time I was there I did notice some appreciative attention by visitors. Of course, I’m always learning about different aspects of the task of exhibiting. For example, on reflection I might have offered a different selection of my work. I hope you continue to enjoy the blog. J
