Certainly that is what it feels like, to return to my blog after a long absence. The reasons for this silence have been connected. We have moved house, which has been a substantial disruption of life, and a distraction of my attention. More significantly, I think (although connected to it) I haver been suffering from a long period in which my morale has been low, and I have produced very little work. It has been a struggle to hold things together on several levels.
Now that I am in the new house things have immediately started to look up. I have a pleasant studio (although less roomy than there old one), which I hope to initiate soon. For the first time in ages I am applying to participate in exhibitions. Indeed, I have a solo show at the South Square Centre, in Bradford, during May. Also I’ve applied for a place in a small gallery in London. More of that anon, I hope.
Anyway: now that things are getting back to normal I hope that we will be in touch more often.
