Today I managed to finish my attempt to update both this web-site and my own art records. Both of these have required quite a bit of effort, and the determination not to be put off by that. Each of these task has had its challenges, particularly the web-site, in view of my relative technical inexperience. (Upgrading my records is simply a matter of slogging away with the word processor, and moving around a few photographs.)
Structurally the site remains pretty well the same, but there are new “galleries”, some textual revision and some new photographs here and there. I’m quite pleased with the result, and I would welcome your feed-back.
It might seem a little perverse, but I am actually looking forward to getting back to something like a normal pattern of activity. I reckon that I’m pretty well “Ruttered out”* and on the verge of suffering from chocolate shock. What I need as much as anything else is some exercise in order to trim off the extra kilo and a half I have mysteriously acquired. This is due as much to overdoing the jigsaw puzzles as it is to an unwise diet.

*John Rutter (in case you don’t know) is a contemporary composer who is perhaps best known for his arrangements of Christmas carols. Whenever I’ve tuned in to Classic fm it has been wall-to-wall Rutter.
