Recently I have been trying systematically to update this website. It seems that my efforts have not always been successful. As one reader point out to me a couple of days ago, my attempt to restore the “Picture of the month” slot has, for some reason, not registered. This has not been the only glitch I have encountered.
I have been attempting to get in touch with the technician who originally set up the suite, but so far without success. Meanwhile, if you do spot things which appear to be out of place please do let me know.
The blog will fall silent over the next few days because I go to have a cataract removed tomorrow. I know that this will result in some temporary limitations on what I can do with my eyes, although I don’t yet know for how long these will last. It is clear, however, that I will be discouraged from using a computer screen for a little while. As the man in the film said, however, “I’ll be back!”
