Suddenly I realise that I am very tired. Recently I have been very busy, not so much with the creative business of art, but with the raft of administration on which it floats. My exhibition at Worcester Cathedral (in February) has sailed over the horizon so that I have had to run around making sure that everything is in place there. (For how many images is there space? Have I remembered correctly the hanging arrangements? What exchange do I need to have with the Cathedral shop?) And so on …. not to mention the things I have had to do in relation to the South Square Centre and the Apothecary Gallery. In addition to these practical tasks, for some stupid reason I have been worrying over the possibilities of developing further the T.S. Eliot material. This has been a self-inflicted burden because there are no plans in place at the moment to do anything with that. In short, I have been busy, busy, busy, and it is high time that I stopped.
So, that is exactly what I propose to do, and consequently this will be the last blog that I post, probably until the New Year. I will be spending time with my wife and other members of the family. I hope that (weather permitting) I will get in at least one good country walk. There will be the usual Christmas sociability. There will certainly be a good jig-saw puzzle. Whatever happens, however, I intend that it should be really rather quiet!
I hope that you too will have a good, refreshing break over Christmas and the New Year, and I look forward to our contact again in due course. Have a happy Christmas and a good New Year.
