Well, here I am in Milan, on holiday. The journey started with something of a shock. We were on the Metro this morning, on our way to visit the Modern Gallery, when to my astonishment and (I have to admit, dismay) I was offered a seat by a young woman! Do I really appear to be quite that elderly?
As usual my trip began with a search for contemporary art, which has always struck me as poorly served in Italy. My hopes rose to see a new exhibition on display at the gallery! It turned iut to by by German artists! Ah well!
