Yes: I know that we are more than half way through January, but today has been important to me as an occasion on which I have (at last) begun to think properly about the coming year. I had a very good meeting with the person who is taking on the reconstruction of my website, giving her the revised text of a large part of it. It really does look as if this project is going to move to fruition at last. Then, over dinner, I sat down with my wife and our diaries and we began to sketch in opportunities for various things to happen. In particular, for the first time, I was able to identify possible dates for another of my “art retreats”. These in the past have been really significant opportunities for me to get to grips with an artistic project. Life has altered, all of a sudden, from a question of muddling through and coping, to a project extending into the future.
