And now some good news!

The news does seem to have been rather dire for some time now, at a world level and nationally. Things have been a bit flat at the personal level too. I’ve been sending off requests for exhibitions at a fair rate, taking advantage of the fact that I haven’t got an active art project on at the moment. I have to admit that, despite the fact that it is a “progress task”, the demolition of my display screens has felt rather like saying “Goodbye” to an old friend.

I’m very happy to say that I received two bits of good news, which have put a different colour on life. My request to take part in the”creative practice” consultation, organised by the Artists’ Network, has been accepted for Friday. Better still, I had the news today that my application to show the Green Man project in Lincoln Cathedral has been accepted. There is an added boost to this news in that I discover that my work will be on display coincident with the performance of the “Mystery Plays” during the second half of July.

Isn’t that great?
