I am determined to finish the revision and updating of this website before Christmas. Having fought off my natural technophobia (some call it idleness) I have spent the last few days conscientiously with my nose to the grindstone. Four old “galleries” have been integrated into two, with new rubrics written, and a new one created to provide a home for recent work. Additional detail is being added in support of the illustrations, and new items added to several of the galleries (and on occasions old pieces deleted.) I must have spent around seven hours today, determined to finish the task. Then I hit a problem.
It is always like this with technology and me. Just when I make the effort to conquer it something doesn’t work, and I don’t know how to respond. I created a new “gallery” to house my Green Man project, and wrote the rubric for it. Then, to my dismay and annoyance, the illustrations all refused to load. There is something systematic afoot. It will be necessary for me to resort to the person who created the site, and who supports it, and I am left with the frustration and disappointment of not having finished the task towards which I have worked so hard.
Setting that aside, do look around the site whether or not this is your first visit or you are a regular. I believe that you will find it tidier, more informative and more accurately representative of what I am doing. Your comment (even if critical) will be very welcome. I look forward to hearing from you.
